Chords & Music Theory

In this section we look at music theory in regard to chords and scales and try to explain the ways chords work together, how to use music theory to expand your possibilities when playing and a general attempt to explain the jargon.

Music theory as we talk about here is Western music theory where the octave is divided into 12 notes. If you play all 12 notes together this is called a chromatic scale.
